Hanoi [Vietnam], August 17: Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez were spotted in the stands at Al Nassr's opening match of the Saudi Pro League, marking the couple's first public appearance since their marriage, The National News reported on August 16.
This marks the first time Ronaldo and Georgina have appeared in public since officially becoming husband and wife. The couple recently held a private wedding ceremony in Portugal after nearly a decade together.
The match went smoothly for Al Nassr, with Angelo Gabriel and Joao Felix scoring in the first half. In the 73rd minute, Samu Costa scored, sealing a 3-0 victory for the home team against Al Fateh. This win also marked Al Nassr's 300th victory in the national league.
Ronaldo did not play in this match. The Portuguese superstar had just returned to training after participating in the World Cup in North America, and had also recently gotten married to Georgina.
"It was a good start. We worked hard and deserved the three points. I want to dedicate this victory to my family, my teammates, and Cristiano Ronaldo ," said Samu Costa after the match. Samu Costa was also a member of the Portuguese national team that participated in the 2026 World Cup. His team, along with Ronaldo, was eliminated in the round of 16 after a 0-1 defeat to Spain, who went on to win the tournament.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo sat in the VIP area with Georgina and their children to watch Al Nassr play. The 32-year-old beauty made a striking appearance alongside her husband. She wore a metallic gold bomber jacket over a black outfit, paired with large hoop earrings and a black baseball cap. Ronaldo, on the other hand, opted for an all-black outfit, while the couple's children wore Al Nassr's home kit.
Notably, Ronaldo also impressed with his new look after his wedding. The 41-year-old star appeared with short, blonde hair, a stark contrast to his familiar dark hairstyle. Ronaldo shared this new image after returning to training with Al Nassr and it quickly garnered attention from fans. Some sports publications described it as a rather bold image change for the Portuguese striker ahead of the new season.
