Baghdad [Iraq], August 23: Iraqi President Nizar Amedi on Saturday reaffirmed Iraq's rejection of any use of its territory as a launchpad for attacks against Gulf states, stressing the need to preserve the country's stability and prevent it from becoming an arena for regional conflicts.
Speaking during a discussion session at the eighth Baghdad Dialogue Conference, Amedi said Iraq was committed to protecting its sovereignty and preventing its territory from being used to harm neighbouring countries. Amedi said Iraq is at a sensitive juncture, requiring it to safeguard political and security stability. (QNA)
