London [UK], March 31: Raphael Guerreiro will leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season after it was mutually agreed not to extend his contract. Guerreiro joined Bayern from Borussia Dortmund on a free transfer in 2023 and has since made 89 appearances for the Bundesliga champions as a left-back and in midfield. The 32-year-old Portuguese international becomes a free agent on June 30 and has been linked with a move to Juventus. "We would like to express our sincere thanks to Rapha for the time he has spent with us," Bayern director of sport Max Eberl said. "We could always rely on Rapha on the pitch and he is one of those characters who enriches any dressing room. Our discussions with him were constructive and based on trust and mutual understanding." "We are now focusing, alongside him, on our goals for the rest of the season - there's still a lot we want to achieve together." Bayern are nine points clear at the top of the Bundesliga table, face Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-finals and have drawn Bayer Leverkusen in the last four of the German Cup.
