Hanoi [Vietnam], August 28: After Doan Van Hau and the Vietnamese national team won the ASEAN Cup, Doan Hai My shared some noteworthy insights about her partner's two-year journey overcoming injury.
On the evening of August 26th, the Vietnamese national team defeated Thailand to become champions of the ASEAN Cup 2026. In the stands, Doan Hai My and her son were present to cheer on Doan Van Hau and the other players. On her personal page, she shared a photo with her partner, accompanied by the caption: "We are the champions."

In addition, the top 10 Miss Vietnam 2022 contestant also shared her feelings about the time she spent accompanying her husband through his injury treatment before he returned to the football field. She began with the following statement: "For over two years. my husband and I traveled from Vietnam to Singapore, Thailand, and South Korea, with nothing but our passionate blood and unwavering faith."
The 10X beauty revealed that after their wedding, she and Doan Van Hau had to fly to Singapore for examination and treatment. During the final months of her pregnancy, Doan Hai My accompanied her husband back to Singapore for the first surgery. Afterward, they spent a month in South Korea for rehabilitation, then returned to Vietnam, but because they felt she wasn't 100% recovered, they went back to South Korea for a second surgery.
Recalling the journey so far, Doan Hai My shared: "I will probably never forget that day - the day I saw my husband off to South Korea for surgery. I tried to encourage him, but as soon as his car drove away, tears started falling. I was worried, felt sorry for him, and felt heartbroken, but I never lost faith in him. Thankfully, things went more smoothly for us after that."
