Ajman [UAE], April 10: Ajman produced a scintillating display as they eased to a 4-2 win over Al Wasl at Rashid bin Saeed Stadium in matchweek 22 of the ADNOC Pro League on Sunday.
Ajman took an early lead after nine minutes when he met M. Ben Alarbi's low cross with a clinical finish from inside the box.
The Moroccan striker cemented his side's lead eleven minutes later when he ran onto a superb pass from Ali Madan to break the offside trap as he picked up the ball inside the box before drilling the ball into the back of the net.
M. Ben Alarbi turned from a provider to a scorer as he added the third goal in the 24th minute when the Tunisian midfielder picked up the ball on the left flank and cut inside the penalty area before hooking a stinging shot in from a tight angle.
Six minutes after the break, Ali Madan made it 4-0 for the hosts from the spot when he stroked the ball into the top left corner of the net.
Tomas Chancalay reduced the deficit for Al Wasl five minutes before the hour-mark with a spectacular long-range strike into the bottom corner.
Fabio De Lima added the second goal for the visitors with a first-time volley from a close range five minutes before the time.
The result means Ajman sit seventh with 38 points, while Al Wasl are sixth with 40 points.
